Kunzite is a pale lilac gemstone, named for the mineralogist George Frederick Kunze who first cataloged the stone in 1902. Kunzite is an extremely sensitive stone, so please take caution in exposing your Kunzite to sunshine or water. In the metaphysical community, Kunzite is used as a “heart-opener” that can soothe emotional distress and encourage a deeper connection with our softer side. This stone is considered to be emotionally healing with properties that include positive communication and relief from overthinking.
